Completion of further training for the education of visually impaired people

In line with our responsibility towards our visually impaired brothers and sisters who say, "We want to read the Quran even if we touch it", the "Advanced Education Programme for Visually Impaired Educators" was conducted by the International Academicians Union (ILM) and Izmir Katip Çelebi University.

In the training programme, which was attended by 31 educators, general education about the visually impaired and Turkish and Arabic Braille was provided.

The trainees received their certificates from Dr Abdulhalim Inam, Chairman of ILM Academicians, Dr Hakan Aydın, Managing Director of ILM and Zehra Alver, ILM Disability Officer.
