Successful Online Training: “Migration: Philosophical and Social Science Perspectives”

The session of the monthly training, Prof. Dr. Alexander-Kenneth Nagel from Georg-August University of Göttingen spoke on the topic “Migration: Philosophical and Social Science Perspectives” and examined a current and socially relevant topic from various angles.

The focus was on the question of what significance philosophical and social science perspectives on migration have for educational practice and everyday school life. The lecture offered a wealth of food for thought and encouraged participants to reflect on their own perspectives. The exchange with the participants was particularly enriching; they shared their experiences from everyday school life, thereby impressively illustrating the practical relevance of the topic. The diverse perspectives underscored how important interdisciplinary dialogue is for addressing diversity and societal challenges in the field of education.
