Online Professional Development: Anti-Muslim Racism in Schools

The second online professional development session within the framework of a monthly continuing education series for teachers of Islamic religious education was successfully held on 25 January 2026. Prof. Dr. Constantin Wagner and doctoral researcher, empowerment trainer, and author Rümeysa Şenel jointly addressed the topic “Anti-Muslim Racism in Schools.”

With 50 highly engaged participants, the event was a great success both in terms of content and the strong level of interest. The aim of this professional development series is to strengthen the subject-related and pedagogical competencies of teachers while systematically taking current societal developments into account.
