Advanced Training Program for Islamic Religious Education Teachers Launched

The first session of a planned monthly online advanced training program for Islamic religious education teachers was successfully held on December 14, 2025. The guest speaker, sociologist and psychologist Dr. Cemil Şahinöz, delivered a presentation titled “Islam in the Mirror of Modernity”.

With 53 dedicated participants, the session was highly productive both in content and engagement. The program series aims to enhance the professional and pedagogical competencies of teachers in light of contemporary social developments.

In January 2026, the advanced training series will continue with contributions from Prof. Dr. Constantin Wagner and PhD candidate, empowerment trainer, and author Rümeysa Şenel. The event series aims to make a sustainable contribution to professionalization in Islamic religious education.
